Our Faith

The River Conference gladly follows Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. We believe the historic Christian faith as written in the Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed, or in a contemporary example, the National Association of Evangelicals statement of belief.

In practice we embrace St. Augustine's generous orthodoxy which John Wesley was fond to quote; "In essentials we have unity, in non-essentials we have liberty, in all things we show charity (love)."

The essence of our faith: Jesus is Lord.
