RIVER INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FOR MEMBERS OF THE RIVER CONFERENCE

If you are not part of The River Conference, your local Conference may have scholarships available. We encourage you to reach out to them.

The River Conference offers scholarships on a case by case basis to help members of The River Conference with the cost of the Free Methodist River Institute. This application is the tool to determine the needs of the applicant and is not a guarantee of any scholarship money. If you are in need of funds, please complete this form and submit.

Cost And Expectations

The cost of each cohort of the Free Methodist Church Institute is $1,000. Each cohort consists of five classes which are all required for ordination in the Free Methodist Church. The River Conference leadership would like for everyone to prepare to invest in his or her ministry development but recognizes that financial constraints may be prohibitive.

How much financial support are you requesting?

EXPECTATIONS - please check each item to affirm your acceptance. Please note the following EXPECTATIONS of the recipients of The River Conference scholarships granted from enrollment in the Free Methodist River Institute.(Required)

Your completed application for the Free Methodist River Institute scholarship must be received at least one (1) month before the start of the cohort that you plan to attend.

Timely completion of video instruction and participation in group discussion and chats

Timely submission of your Asbury Certificate to the MEG Coordinator (meg@theriverconference.org) upon successful completion of the cohort.

Alert the institute facilitator, Kasey Martin (institute@theriverconference.org), of any extenuating circumstances that are preventing your full and timely participation in the courses.

If you are enrolled in the full cohort, you must complete all five courses to get credit for each course. Partial credit does not exist.
