Greetings TRC family! Melanie and I look forward to being with you in Denver at TRC Leadership Summit in several weeks.

 

I’m pleased to share the results of the Superintendent election that was conducted online. Superintendent Michael Traylor was elected as TRC Superintendent with an 86% yesvote. This strong affirmation for Supt. Michael is an encouraging sign of the unity in TRC and reflects the willingness of the conference to follow Supt. Michael’s leadership.

 

I know you join me in offering our congratulations to Supt. Michael and also our sincere appreciation to Supt. Amelia who transitions from the role of Co-Superintendent. As has been announced previously, Supt. Amelia will continue to be significantly involved with TRC as she Chairs TRC Ministerial Education and Guidance Board. We’ll have an opportunity to pray for Supt. Michael and Supt. Amelia at Leadership Summit.

 

I want to express my appreciation to the Superintendent Nominating Committee: Mark Douglas, James Ford, Tedi Gonzales, Julie Gray, Eunice Guzman, James Leman, Dave McGarrah, John McGee, Ali Mitachi for their excellent work in bringing this process to a conclusion. It was a privilege for me to work with them and hear their passion for the vitality, growth and health of TRC.
